Our town has enjoyed many
successes over the past two terms. Our town needs to build on past success and
grow to become the best we can be within the province of Saskatchewan. Part of any well managed community that wants
to be viewed as a important contributor to the local economy starts with a well
written business plan with goals to thrive and be successful.
I have a number of specific
goals that can be met over both the short term and longer term. Continue the
good work in areas like customer service, budgeting and workplace excellence.

To focus on our core businesses of
administration and regulation by having effective and efficient systems in
place to meet the needs of our Preeceville citizens.
·
To be seen as an community leader in the
relationships we have with our partners and stakeholders, not only allowing
them to be successful, but ensuring the needs of Preeceville citizens are being
met through the services we deliver and through services our partners provide.
·
To be an employer of choice and a leader
in workplace safety.
·
To be successful in an environment where
customer expectations continue to grow, while managing with existing
resources.
·
We can align and structure ourselves
better to ensure we have the focus and resources to continue to build and
strengthen our relationships with partners and stakeholders.
·
We can continue our efforts to reduce
red tape and become more efficient throughout our operations.
·
We can do a better job of focusing on our
goals and measuring our performance against them.
In closing, I would like to
thank each of you for all your work. In talking with our citizens, customers
and visitors, they always comment on how the Town looks and the pride we all
have in our community.
