This week we focus on:  Our Museum is celebrating it's 10th year

Our museum will be celebrating it's 10th year this summer. A great way to check out our history and support our museum is to stop in for a guided tour and buy a membership for the season. On July 8th the museum will be offering homemade chili and fresh clay oven baked bread  as part of our Old Home Week. Our Museum board will be expanding into three new rooms over the summer to showcase even more of our past. Our town is proud of all the work done by the Preeceville and District Heritage Museum over the past ten years. It truly is a Saskatchewan one of a kind visit. "Check it out, there's always something new to see and discover"

This week we focus on:  Buy Local Day

"The Government of Saskatchewan has proclaimed the first Saturday of every month as Buy Local Day. The intent of the proclamation is to encourage provincial consumers to shop local – thereby supporting businesses and jobs in communities across the province"
We often think "buy local" is a small town promotion, but it's really about supporting the business where you live. That support helps all of our small business pay their taxes which in turn help keep all our taxs low. In Preeceville and area about 300 persons are employed in small business. So show your support by buying local when you can.
