This week we focus on: Small Business Week - October 18th to 24th 2015

"Small businesses make up more than 98 per cent of all businesses in Saskatchewan, which translates to more than 107,000 businesses in all corners of the province. Each year that number grows and Saskatchewan now has the highest concentration of small businesses in the nation, with 97 small businesses per thousand people" “Small businesses are essential to Saskatchewan; they employ nearly 150,000 people, produce a third of the province’s annual economic output, and contribute to the stability and vibrancy of countless communities across the province”

" So looking at the area within the RM of Preeceville we have 298 bussiness listing which is on par with the numbers per thousand for Saskatchewan. Plus we have all the farm businesses that add to that number" Looking for a business or service within our area check out out Community listing on our web site. You will be surprised at what we have to offer. You can also update your listing or have your bussiness added free. Time to celebrate Small Business Week, Shop Locally and support all of our small businesses.

The Saskatchewan Housing Corporation (SHC) is looking for a Volunteer to seat on the local Preeceville Board. If you are interested in being appointed or would like more information please contact me. Mayor Garth Harris
