This week we focus on: Winter Volunteers Congratulations to all the volunteers in minor hockey for all the hard work and dedication over the season. Congratulations goes out to The Preeceville Pats Bantam team who defeated Yorkton in the A final in the Major Hockey League. A thank you goes out to the Preeceville skating club who provided a great evening of entertainment at the carnival. Preeceville Curling wants to thank everyone who supported the club this year and hats off to all the volunteers who helped in making this year a success. Now that the winter sports are coming to a close please watch for baseball registration forms which will will sent home from the school or you can find it on the town's recreation facebook page. - We will be offering swimming lessons at Annie Laurie Lake throughout the summer. - Canada Days - July 1st to 4th - What do you want to see this year? Upcoming Events:

- April 14th - Volunteer Appreciation Tea and Awards, Tuesday, starts at 2:00 pm at Club 60. Do you know a volunteer that went the extra mile? Contact the town for forms.

- April 17 - 18th - Preeceville's Annual Spring Expo Doors open on Friday at 11 am runs till 9pm and Saturday open from 10am till 4 pm Check out out that's new at the Skating Arena.
Over 50 vendors with displays. Free admission. Children's events. More info next week.

- April 18th - Meghan Nash presented by the WhiteaHawk Arts Council at 7:30 at the Sturgis Community Hall. Tickets available at Country Lane Florists.

- May 20th - "Snakes of Saskatchewan" presented by Ray Poulin, Wednesday, May 20, 7:00 pm at Club 60. Everyone welcome. Check out Snakes of Saskatchewan by Ray Poulin

- May 30th - Community Wide Garage Sale

Community Wide Garage Sale

Will be held Saturday May 30th, 2015. Anyone interested in having a garage sale the same day as others in the Town of Preeceville can call the Town Office at 306-547-2810 and register their garage sale and be placed on the event map. 8:00 am - Pancake Breakfast - Preeceville Volunteer Fire Dept. 11:00 am - Hot Dogs & Pie at Preeceville Club 60 11:00 am - 1:00 pm Hamburger BBQ at Centennial Park - sponsored by the Preeceville Air Cadets And there is room for other groups to hold something that day, again call our town office for information.
