This week we focus on: May/June 2016 Town of Preeceville Newsletter
The
May/June 2016 Town of Preeceville Newsletter has just been added to our
website. Please click here to view it
and feel free to look over all the other news on our website while you are
there. Canada will be turning 150 in 2017 and Preeceville has set August
4 - 6, 2017 as the date for their celebration. Watch our website for
information on this event as it becomes available. Please let your family
and friends know about this celebration.
Rock climbing wall be will at the Preeceville Arena
sports grounds on tuesday may 24th from 2-5 pm. Free hot dogs will be served at
the arena at 6 followed by an evening of rock and roll at the skating rink.
Bring your roller blades, scooters etc of to enjoy an evening of music , fun
and recreation.Hockey nets will be set up as well for ball hockey. there is no
charge and everyone is welcome.

. We are very close to opening as we are just waiting on a few range supplies.
bucket of balls will be available at Midtown for $5 cash only
We are planning to hold a boat safety exam or pleasure craft operators exam. Cost is approximately $50. the course material will be available in advance and all is that required is for the individual is to come write the exam. for more information call Andrea at 547-2810

- May 21st, Dance at the Hazel Dell Hall, music by the Old jCountry Lads - May 25th, - The Preeceville & District Heritage Museum Open House on Wednesday, from 1 - 4 pm and will be featuring the Year of the Ukrainian. In the traditional Ukrainian welcome, they will be serving coffee, tea, homemade bread and jam and sweets. - Old Home Week this year will also focus on the Year of the Ukrainian. |
