National Volunteer Week runs from April 12th to Apr 18th this year. - April 14th - Volunteer Appreciation Tea and Awards, 2:00 pm at Club 60. Sponsored by the Preeceville EDC
Volunteers are the backbone of all small towns. Do you know anyone doing work in your organization that should be appreciated? Contract the town office for more information and forms.

This is a great chance to showcase your products to the general public.

- The Saskatchewan Housing Corporation (SHC) is looking for a Volunteer to seat on the local Preeceville Board. (April 1st 2015 term) If you are interested in being appointed or would like more information please contact me. Mayor Garth Harris “The Minister establishes local housing authorities and appoints the volunteer board members who oversee operations of the housing authority”

 -  The Preeceville Curling Club Open Bonspiel is now on till the 8th. Great Curling actions and great food. Check it out!

- 2015 Parkland Music Festival, March 8 - 14, 2015 Preeceville and Sturgis.
Final Concert will be on Sunday March 15th, 2:30 at the Trinity United Church

- Preeceville Figure Skating Club Carnival "Don't Bug Me", on March 20 at 7:00 pm. Admission $5/adult, $3/kids. Dessert and refreshments included.

- Kelsey Ecological Society presents "Snowdrift River" slide show presented by Kathleen and Michael Pitt on Sunday, March 22, 2:00 pm at Club 60. Everyone welcome.

- March 28th - Preeceville Wildlife Annual Banquet - Legion Hall - Advanced Tickets only - Midtown or Howard at 306-547-3176
 

- Apr 18, 2015 7:00 pm at the Sturgis Community Hall  the Whitehawk Arts Council presents "Megan Nash"  Nash flirts with folk and punches pop in the face while wrangling soul-tinged roots. Her knack for writing with universal concepts and appeal is accentuated by her choice of down to earth covers in the folk and country genre.

Spring Cleaning is around the corner. So we are planning our annual:




Community Wide Garage Sale
Will be held Saturday May 30th, 2015.
Anyone interested in having a garage sale the same day as others in the Town of Preeceville can call the Town Office at 306-547-2810 and register their garage sale and be placed on the event map.

8:00 am - Pancake Breakfast - Preeceville Volunteer Fire Dept.
11:00 am - Hot Dogs & Pie at Preeceville Club 60
11:00 am - 1:00 pm Hamburger BBQ at Centennial Park - sponsored by the Preeceville Air Cadets

And there is room for other groups to hold something that day, again call our town office for information.
