This week we focus on: Mushers' Rendezvous A WORLD - CLASS EVENT
| Come out and celebrate the 18th Annual Preeceville & District Mushers' Rendezvous! The annual Mushers' Rendezvous in Preeceville will be held on February 3, 4, & 5, 2017, all starting at the Preeceville and District Skating Arena. It is a world-class event featuring six and 10 sled dog races. The fun weekend will include a lot more for the whole family: a talent show, suppers, dance (Saturday), hockey games and some exciting events for children. It will truly be a memorable event to attend! And we Thank you! If you want to help the organizing committee make this a truly fun event, why don't you come out and volunteer. The organizing committee needs someone to put together advertising for this event. Workers are also needed to work the gates on Saturday and Sunday. Passes available the week before at: Gateway CO-OP, Paul's Drugs, and Town Office in Preeceville. Friday, February 3rd 7:00 pm: TALENT SHOW - Preeceville Community Legion Hall, Pledges accepted for your favorite performance. Only $2 to attend! Free will offering for coffee and dainties to follow for those who wish to stay. Buttons and raffle tickets will be available for purchase. Don't miss this night of great entertainment! List of talent coming soon RAFFLE TICKETS Preeceville Community Hall will host raffle draws on Saturday and Sunday at 5pm Tickets on the Annual Survivor Sleigh will be available at the Preeceville Community Hall throughout the weekend. Draw will be made Sunday at 5 pm. Saturday, February 4th 8:00 am: MUSHER'S MEETING AND REGISTRATION (Skating Arena) Jam can curling , sliding hill, outdoor golf putting course and many other activities available all day indoor floor curling at the skating arena Free hot chocolate and treats for all kids participating in activities Recreation Hockey Tournament - watch for times as they become available 12:00 noon: STURGIS KINSMEN CLASSIC - 10 dog race - Approximately 22 miles, ages 16 and over. 12:30 pm Outhouse races - made of up of at least 3 team members, outhouses provided please register in advance if possible by contacting Andrea at 547-2810 . Come enjoy this new activity 2:00 pm: PREECEVILLE RECREATION 6 dog race - Approximately 10 miles, ages 16 and over.
