This week we focus on:   Saskatchewan Change Day "Saskatchewan Change Day, which will be held on November 5, 2015, is part of an exciting global movement aimed at making small health care improvements. The Change Day concept originated in the National Health Service in the United Kingdom and has spread to countries around the world. The Saskatchewan Health Quality Council (HQC) organized Canada’s first Change Day campaign in 2014, and is also organizing Saskatchewan Change Day again in 2015" "Anyone who provides health care, receives health care or who cares about health care can pledge to make a difference. A pledge is an idea for improvement that is meaningful to the pledger. People are asked to enter their pledges on the Saskatchewan Change Day website, at www.skchangeday.com, by November 5, 2015. Participants can act on their pledge any time before Change Day. HQC has set the goal of receiving 2,015 pledges from across the province by Change Day 2015. If you would like to share pledge photos or stories on this website, email us.  Events: - Our Curling Club has the ice ready for the season, contact any club member for more information. - The walking club has started up again, 9 till 10 am Monday, Wednesday and Friday at the Legion Hall.  Everyone welcome. All you have to bring are clean runners.

- November 7th, - Whitehawk Arts Council presents Ken Lavigne - 7:30 pm Trinity United Church

- Nov 11th, - Remembrance Day - Legion Hall - seating begins around 10:00am

- Nov 21st - Influenza Clinics - At Club 60 - 11 am - 3 pm, December 16, 4 pm - 6 pm. Bring your Saskatchewan Health Card and wear short sleeves

- November 26th, - Lioness Club Turkey Bingo at the Legion Hall starting at 8:00 PM

- Nov 27 and 28 - Senior Boys AAA Volleyball Provincials at the Preeceville School, come out and cheer on our Senior Boys. GO PANTHERS GO!

- Dec 5th - The Preeceville Community Hall is hosting a community wide Christmas party. Everyone is welcome as a group or individually. The cost is $30/person. This includes supper and entertainment. The entertainment is the Paper Bag Players. Cocktails start at 6 supper to follow at 7. Please RSVP by November 6 to preecevillerec@sasktel.net or call 306-547-2810 if you require more information. Hurry and get your tickets fast as there are a limited number available.
