1)   Chairpersons Report:
The School Community Council is an integral, purposeful and valued component of School Division governance.
Our Council responsibilities address key matters that make a difference in student learning and well-being.
We are accountable, transparent and responsive in our relationships with parents and the school community.
 Purpose - SCCs work with parents and community members to:
A) Develop shared responsibility for the learning success and well-being of all children and youth; and,
 B) Encourage and facilitate parent, community and youth engagement in school planning and improvement processes.  "The best way to enhance the learning outcomes of children and youth in schools is to help parents support the school by productively engaging their children in learning at home."
